PRONG: Regrouping And Re-Evaluating The Songwriting Process
June 17, 2005PRONG mainman Tommy Victor has posted the following message on the band's official web site:
"So what are the new developments? well since I'm off my duties playing guitar with Glenn Danzig, I'm ready to refocus and continue this project called PRONG! For over two years, Monte Pittman [guitar], Dan Laudo [drums] and myself have been in and out of L.A.'s Downtown rehearsal making attempts at new material for another recording. I can say that out of the approximately ten songs written, maybe three or four are acceptable, therefore Monte and I have regrouped and re-evaluated the process. Mike Longworth [bass] was recently called back in to get involved in the project as well. The conclusion being that we will keep moving along to create songs that are worthwhile an appearance on this next release.
"Shows... Part of the discussed plan has been to get PRONG out on the road playing gigs, getting this deal back on the map. I hope to hook up with a decent agent to mae it possible for appearances in your area. Personally I would love to get over to Europe, maybe hitting areas unvisited previously. This in addition to our favorite haunts like Longview, Texas and Charleston, West Virginia! (Just kidding!) Hopefully we can set things up for this to happen later '05!
"And at last there is a PRONG DVD on the verge of release! 'The Vault' is scheduled for June 23rd opening. As well as featuring footage from recent Euro tours. There is classic footage from the old days. Ask for it at your local store. Find it online as well!
"Thanks so much for your continued interest and support! One can always email me at [email protected]!"
